Ice cream for breakfast

So I gave me kids Ice cream for breakfast. It was followed by a happy, hyper workout on our trampoline and promises of a healthy lunch. You see, in my mind it's all about balance, fun and creating amazing little humans.

So this is the story behind the Ice ream for breakfast. I was pmsing', like craving everything made with sugar, specifically ben &jerrys delicious chuncky, chocolatey, gooey flavors. so I bought 3 pints :) well 4 actually but the kids think it's 3. I had the best time searching through them, picking and choosing the gooiest, most scromtous peices of chocoalte. And then I hid them deep in the freezer (befind the peas and chicken wings) and went about my day. Picking up from Kindergarden and School, handling tantrum number 500888 from my toddler and trying to maintain a good mood while cramping and feeling the rise and rushes of hormones through my body (specifically uterus- thx IUD)

I had a brilliant idea of telling the kids (to keep the peace and hopefully quiet) : when we get home there's Ice cream(!) for snacktime today- "but you have to eat it on the balcony and we are having a healthy dinner tonight" ok, ok, ok mommy... you're the best! wow so many flavors... it was a success! totally instagrmable moment and afternoon.

Come morning and my oh so smart toddler demands Ice cream for breakfast. It's the first day of spring vacation, a beautiful morning and I want to start the day in a good- quiet mood. YES! OK! ICE CREAM FOR BREAKFAST! "really?! says my 5.5 year old?" "yay! says my 8.5 year old"

"but you have to eat it on the balcony, and then brush teeth nicely and be in a good mood and,,,,"

It was a success, they had the best time eating Ice cream for breakfast, I got to have my coffee on the sunny balcony in peace and with a feeling of great joy and serenity and it gave me the name for my blog! which Iv'e been wanting to start for ages and hope you will enjoy reading, laughing or crying along the amazing journey of life we are all on together.
